    Pros

    my students, who deserve much better

    Cons

    Everything: there was not one positive thing about working for SUU. They tried to intimidate their employees to lie and cheat!

    Advice to Management

    You are not god. Treat your employees fairly. I was told if I did not cooperate (not complain and do what I was told) I would not advance. I could not cooperate because their program was only run for money. I left their horrible ESL program, and I now I work at a much better program which actually cares about their students. I also receive three times the pay, and my new program costs the students less money than...

    I have been working at Southern Utah University full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    There are no pros in my job except for my students.

    Cons

    I teach over 30 hours a week for a program that hires unqualified teachers (we have teachers that do not have college degrees, and the vast majority of our teachers have no academic training in the field we teach in). Even though I have a master's degree and I am in front of a class for over 30 hours a week, I do not receive benefits. I am paid a low hourly wage, and I am not paid for lesson planning or grading papers....

    Run a real program with real teachers and real pay.
