I worked at Sparkling Pool Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to meet a lifeguard or supervisor or manager that you come to enjoy and become friends with.

    Cons

Unorganized. Nothing gets done. Will blatently lie to you and then lie again, and again, and once more. Extremely unprofessional. Management has no issue with cursing you out if you make a mistake or even if you don't make a mistake and even if you do something right but they're having a bad day. Office management has absolutely no idea whatsoever of what goes on at any of the pools. Will lie to you and will change your schedule, not tell you, yell and curse you out if you don't show up on time and then threaten to fire you every single day that you ever make any mistake at all.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Change your disgusting attitudes towards everyone.

I worked at Sparkling Pool Services (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're a teenager and need a good paying job, then look into becoming a life guard. You make your own hours, can request time off indefinitely, and the work isn't too strenuous. If they like you, they will try to get you to look into becoming a regional manager.

    Cons

Pay increases take awhile, If you're good, be expected to work 10 hours a day, alone, 4/5 days a week, Crazy pool patrons ( can be funny too)

    Advice to Management

Care more about the individual life guards and the pools they work at. Some pools get too much love while others barely get any at all.

I have been working at Sparkling Pool Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Very flexible hours
Sit by a pool and tan all summer
    Pay is ok
It could be a lot worse but it isn't

    Cons

Some of the people at the pools can be very rude. It must be a matter of life and death to some people, having the pool exactly how they want it.

    Advice to Management

Pay everyone a bit more. Upgrade the equipment. Hire better, more reliable people.
