    I worked at Sparks full-time

    Pros

Sparks had a very friendly and fun atmosphere which made it easy to want to work. The managers down to employees made it their business to socialize and collaborate on projects. I felt as though each individual was focused on success through professionalism.

    Cons

There were times when business was slow and there simply wasn't work to do. This might not be a con for everyone but for me, I enjoy working at work and relaxing at home.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes it would be ok if work was finished to cut out of the office

I worked at Sparks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Diverse workload and creative challenges. You will not be bored at this job, it is fast paced. Good people as well.

    Cons

Heavy workload, long hours and no backup support from Management. It doesn't leave much downtime for your brain. Lastly the compensation is much better elsewhere.

I have been working at Sparks full-time

    Pros

Great company culture and great management - there is no micro-managing of any way. Manage our own schedules and due dates based on our work load and are able to have a say in all parts of the design process. Full ownership of projects allow for seamless transition between design and development and installation of spaces.

    Cons

Very independent, not a lot of room to grow as a designer or collaborate with others. Underpaid and overworked.

    Advice to Management

More vacation or comp days and more attention to helping designers grow and mature.

I have been working at Sparks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's a sense of camaraderie here at Sparks. Teamwork mentality resonates high and you get the support of a multitude of talented people. You also get to work on various projects and you feel accomplished when clients are enthusiastic with the final end results. Upper management is always accessible when you need to discuss anything that's on your mind.

    Cons

More team activities outside of the office would be nice, but I wouldn't consider this a con by any means.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing Sparks!
