I have been working at Sparks full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

There are many company wide activities throughout the year that really brings us together like a family. The owner is walking past you in the hallway and saying good morning - that doesn't happen everywhere.

      Cons

You can be undervalued easily if you don't speak up for yourself.

I worked at Sparks full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      Great offerings, environment and people

      Cons

They don't actually care about their employees. They lie to their employees about job stability and that Sparks doesn't like to lay people off but they do.

      Advice to Management

      Be honest and transparent.

        I worked at Sparks full-time

        Pros

Sparks is broken into small teams, so it's easy to do your work

        Cons

It's a big company so it's easy to get lost in the crowd.

I have been working at Sparks full-time for more than 5 years

        Pros

Great culture, lots of great coworkers, fun activities. Medium sized company so there's not too much bureaucracy. Things are pretty lax.

        Cons

Pay tends to be pretty under market and you have to fight for raises. Management is lacking in some departments, people are put in leadership roles and tend to stay there in spite of failures and lack of respect.

        Advice to Management

Find better leaders. Work on developing the leaders we do have.

          I worked at Sparks full-time

          Pros

Sparks had a very friendly and fun atmosphere which made it easy to want to work. The managers down to employees made it their business to socialize and collaborate on projects. I felt as though each individual was focused on success through professionalism.

          Cons

There were times when business was slow and there simply wasn't work to do. This might not be a con for everyone but for me, I enjoy working at work and relaxing at home.

          Advice to Management

Sometimes it would be ok if work was finished to cut out of the office
