    Pros

There are some amazing team members that pull you back when you’re about to run away midday. Free coffee Pretty amazing bonus structure

    Cons

Bonus wasn’t worth the management Make a plan with your superiors only to have them act like they know nothing of it and it’s your fault, unless it goes well. (Document everything, it sounds crazy and no I wasn’t fired, but do it) Stress level is WAY to high to be selling toasters and dog treats.

Young professionals are treated as a value to this company, not as assets.

Apr 6, 2015 - Associate National Account Manager

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Opportunity to take full control of your day to day work with little management. A lot of exposure to an overwhelming amount of business functions. Easy to get along with most people.

    Cons

Compensation is terrible and constantly complained about on a corporate scale. Far below national average across all sales & marketing roles. Incentive plan seems attractive but will set you up for failure due to lack of support. Impossible to fully execute on business opportunities. Extremely fatigued morale and the opportunities for growth are unrealistic. Common theme of "being spread too thin". Lean organizational structure.

    Expect Decline in UK Petcare

Mar 7, 2017 - National Account Manager in West Byfleet, England

    Pros

Financially strong as an overall group, operating across a diverse range of categories. Although this does lead to a general reality of 'jack of all trades, master of none'. Good CS team in Manchester office. Staff discount.

    Cons

Enquired as to the GP of my accounts, and the answer was "we don't see the GP", only for this to be shown on-screen seconds later. A lot of confusion and misunderstanding around pricing, marketing, promotional strategy, P&Ls and OGSM. No decent overall strategic direction or brand investment versus the competition. Morbidly obese layer of commercially incompetent middle management, versus complete lack of sales support staff across finance and category management.
