    good 401k, a lot of opportunity to move up, countrywide coverage so you can move if wanted

    Cons

    high expectations with very little resources. not much training.

    Pros

    Health insurance. Fast promotions to the top of you provide results. Opportunities to grow in the company whether you’re starting as a csr or an AM.

    Cons

    No social life as management. High pressure to sell candy and keep up rewards rates. Employe turnover rated at stores is very high.

    Advice to Management

    Give new ams and gms more direction on go to make their stores better. A good gm and am is another branch that helps another pat of the district when in need.

    Pros

    Good benefits for full-time employees, friendly customers.

    Cons

    No work-life balance, no breaks for non-smokers, high turn-over rate, lower starting pay, no guarantee on good bonuses based on store performance, always pushing something to the customer, driving far for training.

    Advice to Management

    Raise the starting pay a little more so we can get some quality employees in that want to work here. We lose so many people after their initial interview/onboarding process because they won’t get paid enough to make a living. Also, it would be great to switch up the selling point from candy every month so employees don’t feel so much pressure from time to time. We already have to ask the customer so much and you keep adding things to that list which drives up our lines. We also have some smokers that take advantage of their breaks, maybe give some of your non-smoking employees a few of those too.

    Great training programs, benefits that beat most

    Long hours, always standing, moving, lifting, bending

    Advice to Management

    My experience was probably not typical, but I had a serious illness that I believe was made light of by other management which led to my parting ways with the company. District managers (at least mine) were not kept in check. Ego problems and very, very rude and presumptuous.

    Pros

    Fast paced, great customers, good medical benefits

    Cons

    Absolutely no work life balance. It’s preached about at all company meetings but leadership never follows through. Outrageous goals at times and relatively no support. Cashier start off at 7.50 and it’s high energy faced paced work. Turnover is high.

    Advice to Management

    Give your staff the help they need better training in the stores 24 hours to learn their entire job is not enough! Hold recruiting accountable for staffing issues! Everybody knows that you want to make more money however invest more in your people turnover will decline it’s been statistically proven time after time. Put more emphasis on training new hires and less on training corporate employees that don’t even have a place to go after training.
