    Pros

Exiting office environment, nothing quite like it - Astroturf carpets, basket balls, scooters, footballs as well as top interior design. In a job where you spend most of your time walking around on a headset it helps to keep things going and energy high.
    Good commission Scheme.
Great billing incentives - personally went on a trip to Ibiza on the company's expense for hitting targets (reasonable targets) in a 3 month period.

    Cons

As with all Rec Companies, cut throat environment. If you weren't one of the 'in group' you could feel quite isolated. Sometimes the 'work banter' got a little cutting and young management were sometimes some of the worst. Poor performance was handled publicly and in a nonconstructive way.
    Long Hours

Good commission scheme and incentives - terrible base.

    Advice to Management

No one wants to miss their KPIS or underbill. Not once did I see anyone under performing who wasn't trying so instead of barking at them maybe adopt a more constructive approach. In an industry where, lets be honest, luck plays a part, demoralizing someone isn't going to get results.

I worked at Spencer Ogden full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Nice office with a great location in the city
    - Manager was a good guy
    - Free fruit
    - Nice group of colleagues
    - Supposedly you can earn good commission, but 95% of consultants probably never see more than a few hundred bucks

    Cons

    - Oppressive expectation to work far longer than contracted hours
    - Excessive KPIs meant clients were harangued and so gave the company a bad rep
    - Huge pressure to bill
    - Poor salary
    - Drinking culture

    Advice to Management

You really need to think up a more structured approach to engaging with potential clients. The current scatter-gun approach from consultants, particularly ones with only a few weeks of training and no industry experience, is hugely damaging.
