I have been working at Spiraledge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are great, the company is young, flexible and casual. It's easy to work a job here into a balanced lifestyle.

    Cons

The employee turnover is high (welcome to Silicon Valley) and the office is large. It's hard to get to know the other employees, especially the ones you don't work with.

    Advice to Management

Hire people who buy into your company values and goals.

I worked at Spiraledge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has a lot of potential. Nice perks. The newest HR Manager is a big improvement she is available and seems interested in all employees, not just managers.

    Cons

Upper management sometimes forgets about the employees who are the backbone of the company and focuses on the management employee's needs only. Sometimes managers seem clueless about how things affect the staff level employees.

"A great learning experience wholly soured by mismanagement and nepotism."

I worked at Spiraledge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The team in which I worked was composed of a fantastic group of people. Bright, creative, never afraid to pitch in on an endeavor that they may not even directly benefit from. A great group that went above and beyond the realm of reasonable expectations, especially considering the constraints under which we were operating. Sadly, that is not a reflection of the company as a whole.

    Cons

Where to begin...Micro-micro-micro management, blatant nepotism, a culture of "Yes Men", not to mention the insulting pay and ludicrous "direction". CEO wants a culture of 'Rock Stars' from people whose salaries are on par with what the assistant manager at Old Navy makes.

    Advice to Management

No advise given, as it would be the ultimate act of futility. The one person who needs to hear it only has ears for his own voice.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Spiraledge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Awesome colleagues
    - High energy/entrepreneurial environment
    - Yoga, Fitness classes a few times a week, onsite gym and beautiful Guadalupe trail behind the building
    - Self serve breakfast, plus healthy and delicious meals cooked 2x per week

    Cons

Overall company has stellar departments, innovation and drive; however they need to all "speak" to each other.

    Advice to Management

Give your top execs power to lead; improve critical processes and develop talent. Your external customer is happy, do the same for your internal customer and you will become and continue to be the leader in your industry.

    Cons

I have been working at Spiraledge full-time

    Pros

Gym membership and the paid 5Ks.

    Cons

Pay, constant overtime due to the majority not doing their job which interferes with enjoying the perks of going to the gym, and lacks in morale at times.

    Advice to Management

Recognize those that go above and beyond rather than those who dont reach their units per hour (uph). The raffles are not motivating to the hard workers.
