    Pros

    Pay, benefits, people who are left are valuable resources

    Cons

    Leadership refuses to replace requisitions due to attrition, overloading current resources in addition to aggressive and unrealistic project schedules. Morale is very low due to being beaten down by executive leadership and constant questioning, and decision making power was removed from all but executives. Training is continually pushed back on and resisted. There is no career path here. Despite being told during the interview that there was a succession planning process and mentors, this was not actually the case.

    Advice to Management

    Develop realistic expectations and listen to what the front line managers are telling you. Succession plans are going to be key to building and sustaining a younger workforce.

    Pros

    Good benefits. Co-workers generally good. Manufacturing floor shopworkers were quite appreciative when I helped them adjust to new computers/systems.

    Cons

    Difficult to work with main IT group in Wichita. Top management in Tulsa changed often, leading to changes in management style and focus. Uncertainty regarding future of work in Tulsa. Many "overhead" departments are being downsized and work moved to Wichita.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to personnel at the various sites, and understand each site and its work is different. Don't try to force the same approach at all sites.

    Pros

    Great coworkers and health insurance.

    Cons

    IT management and HR group misrepresented terms of the job and working conditions. Upper management executes frequent reorgs, leading to inconsistency in policies, goals and expectations. Salary below market.

    Advice to Management

    Set reasonable goals and stick with them. Set a clear path to achieve those goals and clearly communicate them.

    The compensation is market average.

    Seeking the lowest cost employee to "fill a seat"... just don't have an opinion and you'll fit right in...

    Advice to Management

    The most recent RIF shed over a millennium worth of collective aerospace expertise... Not good! Continue selling business to Malaysian manufacturers and unloading skilled talent.

    Pros

    Benefits are good. Works for Multiple OEM. So eggs are in different baskets. Chance is high - your job will survive by switching programs.

    Cons

    Not much growth opportunity. It's ex Boeing with all Boeing legacy existing. Not a good place for team work, people speak in whisper & hush hush. And they will keep telling you how high they are paying you and how low you are performing. Will treat you like a machine. Parking facility is disdainful. You have to walk a two story high over bridge to make in & out of the office every time.

    Advice to Management

    No advice. They are no more OEM. As a supplier, now it is overly money driven and doesn't slack for being innovative.

    Pros

    Decent salary.....decent work hours....flexible hours

    Cons

    Management is still inexperienced after 5 years.....HR is the biggest joke there is....it is totally non existent. Once you reach the top of your "salary cap".....you can't even get a raise. What idiot in HR came up with something like that?

    Advice to Management

    Sell the company to someone who can do a better job
