    Pros

Good people and a pretty cool office

    Cons

Training is poor and if cold calling isn’t for you don’t bother because you won’t grow to love it.

    Pros

Great team of people on your level.

    Cons

Worked in sales for gmt a subsidiary of sponsored linx for about 10 months only recently leaving. The management team are a bunch of drongos who have no idea what is going on below them. They set absolutely ridiculous targets which are in no way achievable. Management does not listen to any feedback given from people below them. There is no chance of progression and they will lie to your face about your "potential" earnings....

I have been working at SponsoredLinx full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Great coworkers -Rewarding work -Casual office environment -Room for progression

    Cons

-No understanding of competition and need to meet the market on pricing and strategy -Under paid and appreciate staff -Unrealistic work load 100+ clients for Adwords CM's -No freedom to voice suggestions -Upper management are glorified sales people -No care for quality only quantity -Inexperienced managers -No structure at all

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, some of them have actually got experience in digital marketing and not just sales. The reason why revenue is decreasing is because clients and staff are tapping onto the fact that we don't actually have time to do any real work for them.

    Pros

Literally the only good thing about this place is your team mates and team leaders. Not upper management.

    Cons

Where to even start. All of the ridiculous investigations trying to prove the client management department is losing the company money or some other insulting accusations. A company that values quantity over quality and overloads their workers with unachieavable workload and client numbers, which has been addressed by the workers on many occasions but falls on deaf ears every single time. There must be some very dirty...

Listen to your employees for gods sake, they’re the ones who do the job day in and day out. Stop trying to blame the employees for the company draining money and take a good hard look at yourselves.

    Advice to Management

I was always treated pretty well. There is a lot of crap on this site I find the majority of it pretty hard to believe. I suppose everyone has their own experience and could always have left on bad term but I cant imagine it would be to dramatically different from my own experience.

    Pros

About half the people are decent human beings.

    Cons

Literally everything else. Management has no clue what they’re doing or what is happening with their staff. The CEO Ben seems pretty useless too, does he even know marketing? The churn of staff in sales and client management is so bad for business. I can’t imagine being a client and changing client managers every other week. You could literally work here for 2 weeks and probably get promoted to ‘team leader’ because...

"Most of these reviews are rubbish are they?"

      Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at SponsoredLinx

      Pros

I have to write five words here as part of the review. There are no positives.

      Cons

Just look at the volume of negative reviews. Some, maybe, are false but I can assure you most of the negative reviews are spot on. If everything is “just great” at SponsoredLinx how come a huge and comprehensive Re-brand has happened? SponsoredLinx, Get More Traffic and now disrupt digital!!!! What a joke.

I have been working at SponsoredLinx full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

I usually try to avoid any sort of drama, but the last review that was posted struck a nerve. It contains blatant lies about my department and my fantastic colleagues. SponsoredLinX hired me as a graduate with no digital marketing experience (but two university degrees). They have been good to me because I work hard to earn it. I have been here for three years and turned down salaries over 100k because of how good...

      Cons

I suck at ping pong and seem to be getting worse.

      Advice to Management

Thank you for the creative freedom the SEO team has been given. It is making massive differences for clients and CM's alike. Anyone considering a job: It can be intensive at first but the difficulty flatlines after a year.

      Pros

Only the one, and you've probably read it before... they somehow manage to hire a small group of great people every now and then who support each other through the absolute BS that is "working for SponsoredLinx".

      Cons

Let's just quickly shoot off the all-too-familiar points you've seen a million times before: - Overworked (before, during and after normal business hours - looking for a 9am-5pm job? Sure, if you want to fail miserably and probably go on 'performance management' for reasons totally out of your control) - Underpaid (there's also no such thing as paying you for the overtime you have to work to keep your head above water)...

      Pros

      - Amazing staff - Laid back office - Multiple free events

      Cons

SLX has this issue where they've grown too big for themselves and are relying on tactics that worked 5 years ago but no longer do now. The sales team are under immense pressure to make sales from upper management which leads them to make false claims. Once a client is signed under false pretenses the poor client managers are left to deal with irrate clients who are expecting a lot but in reality get very little....

      Advice to Management

Staff retention is your biggest issue, ask HR to work out the average tenure of a SponsoredLinx or GMT employee. You'll see where the issue lies. The solution? Hire more CMs. Pay your staff more. The only people satisfied with their salary are managers. Tells you all you need to know. It may hurt your bottom line, but it's no secret how much money the CEO makes. Spread the money better.
