I have been working at Sport Clips part-time for more than 2 years
Pros
Awesome people, free haircuts, flexible
Cons
dealing with rude customers or people that do not like the technology
I worked at Sport Clips part-time for more than 4 years
Pros
If you have a good manager and good customer base, it is easy to have fun and make money while doing something you enjoy
Cons
Sometimes things can get hectic and customers may get angry. It is part of the job though and worth it in the end as you can make a bond with your co-workers.
Advice to Management
I would make it easier to choose better hours. Many of the people working have children they need to take care of as well and can't always work the hours you make them.
I worked at Sport Clips for more than 2 years
Pros
you're just happy that you only do contract work and don't work with them full time
Cons
marketing department looks like they eat a pickled lemon for breakfast every day: sour faces, rude attitude, condescending people. They treat vendors like dirt, have a really high opinion of themselves (wonder why thou??) - really can't be that talented if working for a company that is still stuck in the 1970s. Several of them look like Cruella Deville and act like her.
Advice to Management
CEO should take a hard look at marketing department. Rudeness not a good way to do business.

Pros
tips (depending on which salon), picking your hours, close knit environment
Cons
Its still a salon with a bunch of women
Advice to Management
Keep salon drama to a minimum.
I have been working at Sport Clips part-time for more than 4 years
Pros
Flexible hours, manager is open to being flexible with everyone's schedule. Not bad if you have a second job. Pretty easy job once you get the hang of the computer (short cuts systems), and find your own strategy on how to get things done.
Cons
Hours vary. Can work one week monday through friday, and another week work 2-3 days. Not sure if it's even possible to become full time. At times hours will be cut even more for some reason. Depending on the people you work with, it's a pretty laid back place.
I worked at Sport Clips part-time for more than 4 years
Pros
Employees are treated fairly well, even in Corporate stores (franchise stores it will vary based on owner). Corporate is not overbearing and their demands are not unrealistic on Stylists. Stylists are actually paid a fairly decent wage here, and when combined with tips, can easily earn $15 per hour in even just a semi-busy store.
Cons
Corporate mandates that Stylists push up-sales onto customers. This can be off-putting for many customers.
Advice to Management
Marketing is lacking. Promotions are limited. Must extend more flexibility to franchises for store-to-store promotions. A salon without foot traffic is just a large money pit. Even if it means giving away half-priced haircuts, 10 or 20% of those customers will repeat 3 or 4 times, generating enough to make the coupons more than worth it. Don't be stingy with coupons.

I worked at Sport Clips full-time for more than a year
Pros
The girls that worked there were friendly and awesome
Cons
Manager will throw everyone under the bus just to save herself and make everyone look bad.
