I worked at Sport England as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Volume of workload.
    Exposure to directors.
    Reasonable work expectations.
Salary - relative for an internship programme.

    Cons

Office morale seemed low/negative which can be a little un-nerving for a new starter.

    Advice to Management

The communication of internal changes and the rationale behind them did not appear to be done as well as it could have been.
That being said, as the internship ended it did appear new initiatives were being developed to improve transparency and general communication which is a step in the right direction.

    Advice to Management

Considering this was my first internship I Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I learnt a lot in a short amount of time.
Considering you are trying to target those who are disabled, women from a south Asian background, BME's your workforce should represent that. Particularly with the main office being based in London.
Maybe in the future consider implementing a grad scheme to bring in more young people.
