I worked at Sports Authority full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I really enjoyed the people I worked with, and the job itself. It's a shame this company failed to continue to thrive

    Cons

I really can't come up with many. Retail hours are never great, especially weekends and holidays, but Sports Authority did it's best to manage time off.

    Advice to Management

I wish this company would've been better run and not had to file for bankruptcy, and ultimately close. I'm not sure this was all managements fault.

I worked at Sports Authority full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people and network of vendors/partners was top notch. The connections made over the last 15+ years have truly been a blessing and the network of peers and friends has been both inspiring and instrumental in building my professional career.

    Cons

Financial problems from leveraged buyout in years past sadly spelled the end for SA. Will be greatly missed at least on my part. Happy seeing all of my SA friends and family moving on to new and exciting opportunities and but sad to see them go...
