I have been working at Spotzer full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Culture, culture, culture. The Denver office is built on collaboration and teamwork. I've consistently been blown away by everyone's willingness to lend a hand when needed. There is an amazing balance of "let's get down to business" and "let's get a beer". The location within the Industry building also offers a really unique environment that is often not available working for this size of business. Pro/Con - Prepare...

    Cons

For a while, the Denver office felt like the red-headed step child, with fewer resources and direction focused here. There has been a big push to enhance this office in the last six months. With increased management, communication, and staff, we are already seeing results.

    Advice to Management

Recognize key players (in DEN as well as AMS) as the company continues to grow.

I worked at Spotzer full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Honestly, the only pro of working at Spotzer was the paycheck. They didn't even pay all of our benefits. Traditional office hours, but mind your lunch break.

    Cons

The company culture is downright terrible. We were given empty promises of raises and improvements in benefits, vacation, company parties, etc. Our office is timid, awkward, and misfit. Probably because people are trying to get the hell out of the office as quickly as possible. Also management appointed some immature and inexperienced people to leadership positions. We have ping pong tables and beer on tap in our...

I have been working at Spotzer

    Pros

The pay sucks. Benefits are minimal. Promotions are sparse and based on how long people have been with the company since most people are gone in 6-12 months. Management makes a point to protect their own with pay raises, bonuses, etc., but this does not get passed down to the "grunt workers." Working hard here will only make someone else rich; you will not be rewarded.

    Cons

Everything here is terrible. Technology is outdated even though the CEO constantly tells partners were are on the "forefront of technology." Our results are negligible and many clients try to quit quickly but are locked in contract, so we have to have painful conversations with them frequently and keep charging their credit card. We used to have office snacks, but our manager took them away because they cost too...

    Advice to Management

No one will listen, I should just get a new job. My advice would be this though - spread the wealth. Spotzer is making a killing. Pay your employees a fair wage and be honest with partners about your skills and limitations.

I have been working at Spotzer full-time

    Pros

    1) free beer in our office 2) cool office space 3) coworkers to commiserate with 4) you get rewarded for things like being employee of the month, or writing a good Glassdoor review

    Cons

    1) you'd need a whole lot of free beer to enjoy working at spotzer 2) you get hired into an "agency," then just spend all day in an actual call center on phones 3) all the major work is done in foreign countries, we just pretend we are doing the work in our respective countries' offices and manage phone calls 4) any appearance of working for a good company is shattered once you've been there for a week 5) our boss...

    Cons

-we are overworked and underpaid -the management does not understand digital or web design -our websites are poorly done -we claim to be industry leaders but just use a web builder called Duda -our design is done in India, but we tell partners it is done in the US -dishonest management -raises are put off, avoided altogether after making promises -photos of Spotzer online make it look like we are all happy and...

I have been working at Spotzer full-time

    Pros

I've been with spotzer for a few years. I think the only pro is I have some nice coworkers.

    Cons

Undervalued. I was hired with a low salary and a promise it would raise after 6 months. It did not. Seems like management is doing alright though. Work too hard with no reward. They keep talking about "startup" culture. You guys are worth millions and only the low level workers sacrifice anything. Lies and deceit. I have been working at Spotzer

    Pros

-office building in the heart of downtown -standard office hours, very little after-hours work

    Cons

-terrible management -bad products and service -we are hemorrhaging our partners and customers -managers are novices with bad attitudes -Spotzer tricks you into working for them with a cool office and say they're a "family" even though they are not

    Advice to Management

I worked at Spotzer full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    1) share your terrible experiences with coworkers domestic and abroad! they all have the same slave-driving experience 2) limited benefits - they pay *most* of healthcare 3) pad your resume while you work elsewhere

    Cons

    1) all positive reviews of this company are written by management. they are simply false 2) at spotzer, you are just a head. we are a factory, not a creative "design team." 3) countless promises were not followed thru by management - raises, promotions, team outings, company culture improvement, office snacks - it is all fake and lies.

    Pros

-Your coworkers will understand what you're going through.

    Cons

-Denver is "managed" by a young, micromanager with literally no previous experience in the industry. -Executive team is full of it. They lie to us about the company direction, raises, bonuses, and more. -Promotions are 100% based on office politics and are incredibly rare. -You will not be rewarded for hard work. -During my interview, I brought up concerns based on Glassdoor reviews.
