I have been working at Spreen Honda full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Solid training, friendly environment, awesome coworkers. If you're a car person, this is where you want to be.

    Cons

The pay could be better but we're promised upward advancement, let's see if true.

    Advice to Management

The process from meet and greet to closing seems impersonal and many customers are being put off by it.

I worked at Spreen Honda full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Large amounts of money can be earned working in the car business.

    Cons

The management are very cliqish and difficult to get along with because it's like the good old boys. They fire the majority of the sales people before the 90 day period. They play favorites which makes it exceptionally difficult to negotiate a deal. I would not recommend working or buying a car from this company.

    Advice to Management

Management refuse to listen or adequately train. They talk about employees who are not present during meetings.

I worked at Spreen Honda full-time

    Pros

Employees have a lot of freedom as long as they are meeting the minimum sales requirements. Employees are encouraged to make phone calls but they aren't forced to make hundreds of calls like other dealerships. If you know how to work the pay plan, you have the potential to make $6k a month.

    Cons

The pay plan is always changing. Management is always changing. Sales consultants don't last for more than a couple months. Married managers are openly having affairs with sales consultants. There is a lot of favoritism in the company.

    Advice to Management

Stick to one pay plan. Value your employees equally.

    Pros

The pay is ok and the dress is somewhat casual.

    Cons

65+ hours a week, weekends, bait & switch, politics, lying, impersonal, brainwashing, gossip, false advertisement, scare tactics, greed.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to talk to people and treat people like they're actual people. You won't have to pay google and yelp to remove all your bad reviews of you and your employees would work better as well.
