I worked at Sprinkles Cupcakes full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small teams at each store, so everyone gets to know eachother pretty well. Varied shifts, stores are open anywhere from 7am-1am so you have lots of options for shifts if you’re in school. Lots of opportunities to learn more and train for leadership roles.

    Cons

You can be working until 2am some days.

I worked at Sprinkles Cupcakes part-time

    Pros

A friendly environment with great incentives such as cupcake cash. Always able to take a little treat for yourself.

    Cons

Only minimum wage with a few strict rules such as no nail polish, no showing tattoos, only natural hair colors, or what kind of shoes or pants you can wear.

    Advice to Management

Allow people to keep their individuality while representing the Sprinkles name.

    Advice to Management

I only worked here for a short time because I chose to move, but I liked my managers on the upper east side. I have no advice to give. I appreciated the hands on training.

I have been working at Sprinkles Cupcakes part-time

    Pros

I really liked working there at first.
    Co-workers are really fun.
You get a free cupcake or scoop of ice cream every day you work.

    Cons

    Management is immature.
    Constant gossiping especially in management.
    Inflexibility with rules for customers.
    Favoritism.
    Late closing shifts.

    Advice to Management

Stop talking about your employees behind closed doors and being two-faced with those same people. Stop hiding in the back and being on your phones. Get more competent and mature people to manage your employees.

I worked at Sprinkles Cupcakes full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great product and had the ability to build long last relationships with customers over 9 years. It once was a fun environment, but now its a miserable place to work.

    Cons

Sprinkles was once a great company to be apart of, but since Candice and Charles left their leadership roles it is a miserable company in many aspects. There is no support from the regional managers or the support center when you need it. They will avoid communication when it is most needed. The new CEO has single handedly lowered morale to an all time low. I've never seen so many General Managers, Shift leaders and front line employees so unhappy that they left the company or were terminated. It is clearly in his agenda to clean house. I personally saw 6 General managers, 1 regional manager, several frontline employees, and several corporate employees leave or be terminated under his regime. This is all due to the extremely long hours without help or support from upper management. He has no understanding of quality of life. The regionals are supposed to talk to managers everyday, yet there would be 2 week spans without hearing from them. There was absolutely no leadership or help provided since the CEO took over. It seemed like everyone on every level was looking for a way to get out.

    Advice to Management

Candice and Charles, please find a CEO to restore Sprinkles to what it once was. Morale has never been this low and people contact me still to express their displeasure about the company. I have a great love for your company and it pains me to see it in this current state. Please make a change before you lose all the people who once made this company great.

I worked at Sprinkles Cupcakes part-time

    Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sprinkles! A great, friendly and often times fast-paced environment (who wouldn't be happy working in space surrounded by delicious smelling cupcakes?!). The core values of the company are integrated into each position.

    Cons

I cannot think of a single con!
