I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The reasons that I stayed at Sprint as as I did was the benefits, vacation time, and my coworkers. In addition, the flexible hours that were once present made life easier.

    Cons

The company reduced benefits, did away with the flexibility and did little to enable upward mobility. My work family became splintered as they expelled person after person over trivial infractions. I eventually grew tired and decided on a career change.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should stop treating people as numbers and eliminate archaic practices that result in an individual losing their job for minor infractions. Also, people need growth and movement within their jobs. Stagnation slowly kills the creativeness that dwells within.

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed getting the bonuses and the end of every month.

    Cons

Getting time off was a hassle. You would have to schedule days off as far as 3 months out.

    Pros

    Cons

Sometimes the company can change things fast without giving you time to adapt. Quotas can be crazy at times.

    Advice to Management

Give employees time to adjust to new standards before wanting to give write ups

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Laid back with easy hours at times

    Cons

Sprint has terrible customer service and end up sending angry customers to the store

    Advice to Management

Bring back 2 yr contracts for existing customers on those plans.

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hourly pay is decent. They also pay commission which if you're not good at sales you can still make an easy $400 on a bad month. Benefits are nothing special, pretty standard. AT&T is a much better employer to be honest.

    Cons

The retail hours suuuuck. Nights and weekends are a must with this company. Also you have to work holidays. Very good job for a college student if you work partime

    Advice to Management

Pay more hourly and give employees a weekend or two off every month. It sucks to work every weekend

    I worked at Sprint full-time

    Pros

    Innovation fast pace service orientated

    Cons

Slow to promote women lack of mobilabilty

    Advice to Management

Diversity is important in all aspects of the business. Promote African Americans and African American Women in leadership roles. There are highly educated with in many cases more experience but are passed over by internal relationships and to those with less experience and education.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent Benefits, free coffee, free cell phone service.

    Cons

No concern for employees, long hours, no raises, recognition, a culture of, "all for me" which likely stems from the layoffs and incentive plans.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees or you will lose talent. You can have success with a balance of being task and people oriented. Stop playing favoritism.
