I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people were great! Teams became more like friends and family. There was a lot of support between associates. My bosses were also amazing.

    Cons

Salary was average and upward mobility was limited. I loved my team, but wanted more movement for my career. I just felt like the options for growth were not there.

I worked at Sprint full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Sky’s the limit in commission sales, and the best (usually kindest) employees can bring in an extra $10k to their yearly income.
    - Generally fine co-workers
    - Can be an easy road to promotion, though the increase in base pay isn’t very much
    - My manager was a nice guy, if a little inexperienced in managing employees

    Cons

    - Almost entirely left to your own devices to learn how to do the job
    - It is very much used car sales, but for phones
    - Frequently encouraged to bend the truth to make a sale
    - An atmosphere focused on forcing a sale, rather than just giving a customer what they want
    - Customer service is terrible and in-store employees will often carry the brunt of the anger they instill in customers

    Advice to Management

Focus on training before you put an employee on the sales floor. Give them ALL of the tools to succeed, then send them out into the wild. Forcing new employees to figure out what and how to sell is a recipe for poor customer loyalty and service.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Work from home. Good benefits, new car provided but it costs 200 a month for personal use. The sales engineer is awesome and provides a wealth of knowledge and support.

    Cons

Getting correct Commissions is a struggle. You must stay on top or you will be shorted. Network is still struggling making the product very hard to sell if it doesn’t work.

    Advice to Management

Lack of structure, direction and motivation
