I worked at Sprint (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunity for learning experiences to get other jobs in technical support. Work from Home opportunity. Benefits were very adequate.

    Cons

This position became more about empathy and getting good surveys for Sprint than actual technical anything. I was hired as a techy but at the end of my tenure hated my job because of this. Employees are held responsible for a survey that asks customers will they recommend Sprint as a company. Management does not care about the mental well-being of agents, just the numbers. No raises. More duties from other positions. This was one job I hope robots take over so no one will have to deal with all the stress because you have to be a robot to stay happy with no raise, more duties, irrational survey responsibility, and no expectations for direction.

    Advice to Management

Give as much empathy and expectations to employees as they do to customers and maybe things will get better than worse. Confidence is not something you lose from customers if those things are met and it happens to agents too.
