I worked at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good pay, pto, and the benefits are up to par from my understanding with most other companies. Also the job itself isn’t the most difficult or stressful.

    Cons

Management and rep compensation differs in ways for instance management gets paid on accessory dollars per handset and reps get paid for total accessory dollars. Only 40 hours pto rolls over from year to year with the rest being lost if not taken. Upper management out of touch with real interactions and issues at the store level. Network being behind other major carriers sometimes makes it hard to gain business from... customers. They run a big event once or twice a month to drive traffic but it happens so often that the employees don’t get excited about them anymore. Constantly making changes that don’t seem to make sense and then getting rid of what’s working. Company seems to care less about its tenured employees as merger with T-Mobile gets closer.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time in the stores shadowing or doing the job of front line employees to really learn about it or take more consideration into what advice reps and store management give. Make each area in the company be more aligned when it comes to when to give out disciplinary action with its policies. Stop running sales events on a monthly or bi-weekly basis. Stop chasing away good employees that have put many years..., and good hard work into the company.

I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits!-Paid Time off, discounts on phones and free phone plan.

    Cons

There are a lot of changes being made at the moment so every day is different. Which is great but the reps get confused and its hard to work on one goal when you have a new boss every 3 months.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent even when management changes. Also, if you're going to put out employee surveys, maybe you should read them to make the employee work/life balance better

I worked at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great Pay Decent/Great Benefits Stable to a point

    Cons

Great job for a long time til merger came creeping up. Very aggressive rhetoric against entire districts and areas not meeting higher set goals. Shady sales behavior rewarded short-term, punished long-term. Sprint looks the other way until it's fiscally necessary to drive morality back into the workplace. Lots of top-level management pushes these behaviors without endorsing it.

I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

If you're competitive and are driven by money, then you can make good money here.

    Cons

There is a lot of pressure month over month to hit quotas. Work life balance is nonexistent as a store manager.
