I worked at Sprint full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pay was good enough for me. You meet a lot of great people on the store level & below. Always some type of incentive to sell certain products.

    Cons

Although the pay was good for me, the pay at Sprint is WELL below the average for other carriers (management and retail consultants). The upper management (Store Managers & above) do not possess the skills to make stores successful. You will be threatened with write ups every day you come to work. There is no focus on how to fix the issues representatives face, only threats of corrective action if you don’t hit your metrics. The turnover rate is extremely high because no one wants to come to work and be stressed, threatened & forced to stay past their shift if they don’t hit daily goals. They have an “open door policy” here that there is no bother even using, as they all band together against you when you have a legitimate concern. You won’t get yearly raises here either. The company is failing in all aspects & they can’t afford to give annual raises. Apply of another carrier.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Sprint full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Commission is nice and free phone service

    Cons

No social life. Unrealistic quotas. Written up if you don’t hit 100% of your numbers. 4 Wright ups = termination. Upper management only care about money.

I worked at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good pay, pto, and the benefits are up to par from my understanding with most other companies. Also the job itself isn’t the most difficult or stressful.

    Cons

Management and rep compensation differs in ways for instance management gets paid on accessory dollars per handset and reps get paid for total accessory dollars. Only 40 hours pto rolls over from year to year with the rest being lost if not taken. Upper management out of touch with real interactions and issues at the store level. Network being behind other major carriers sometimes makes it hard to gain business from customers. They run a big event once or twice a month to drive traffic but it happens so often that the employees don’t get excited about them anymore. Constantly making changes that don’t seem to make sense and then getting rid of what’s working. Company seems to care less about its tenured employees as merger with T-Mobile gets closer.
