I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, executives are amazing, 15% discount at stores, awesome headquarters, potential for growth and development.

    Cons

Sprouts is a big business that still operates like a mom and pop shop. HR is a disaster and don't expect any department to have any actual processes. Not all corporate leaders are good leaders but the executive team (President, CEO, CFO, CMO) are amazing. Turn over is low but you get a sense most just stay for the perks.

    Advice to Management

Ensure your directors and managers actually know what their employees actually do. Clean house in HR and other departments. Simplify the process of moving from on position to another. Bring in someone trained on creating and streamlining processes and procedures.

    Pros

Good working atmosphere and farm theme at HQ

    Cons

After your first year, it is almost impossible to move up in the company. Always seem to hire from outside the company

    Advice to Management

Promote from within the company first!

    Pros

Most of the customers are really patient and it's a pretty diverse neighborhood so it's refreshing when the stereotypes don't exist.

    Cons

-Managers keep the rude employees longer.
-Since there's no camera in the breakroom, people will go into your locker and steal your things or spit in your food.
-Bookkeepers are constantly making the same mistakes and writing up points to people who shouldn't have any.
-There's so much gossip about everybody! Since it's gets so boring that the employees talk badly about the newcomers.
-It's not a family kind of business because literally everyone is out for themselves.

    Advice to Management

    Avoid Store #7 ! ! !

    Pros

The only pros is 15 % discount . Most team members are feeling the same pain

    Cons

Its a company that will back stab you no matter how loyal you are. They keep hiring at 10 an hour and are trying to weed anyone over 12 out. Cutting hours before Christmas. Shame on Sprouts

    Advice to Management

Start taking notice of the employees that have been loyal. Remember some customers are only there because of these employees.
