I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Strong Culture and Positive Moral make coming to work each day amazing. Pay is based off your experience in the position you apply for so it is extremely accurate and deserving. Great discounts and full benefits.

    Cons

Sometimes it is busy to the point that it sacrifices that 1 to 1 quality time with each client due to limited store staffing hours. The chance to be heard by corporate management is limited by the natural hierarchy that expects lower management to handle all situations that arise. This does a lot to kill positive change to policies and procedures that need revamping.

    Advice to Management

Have Employee focus groups and or round tables with corporate management of different levels all the way up to the CEO.

I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Like the up-scale environment/ farm's market feel. Great people! FB & Ron are great. Loved how you could wear jeans and facial hair. They accepted each person's style and were ok with it. I really in joyed working there.

    Cons

None really, I had an unforseen medical issue come up because of how my doctor was treating me, which was wrong causing side effects. Sprouts worked with me and helped me through all of it. Great place to work with great people.

    Advice to Management

Empower your employees, the leardship is good and doing that creates a desire to work harder for you and grow. Give second chances to people who through no fault of their own, endure, medical life events, they are still the hardworking and loyal employee, even more so after going through said event.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Able to move up quickly and get increased hourly rate.
Easily made friends with fellow co-workers.
There is always something to do even when business is slow.
Able to help customers find items in the store and give tips and opinions about products and items I have personally experienced with.
Made friends with the regulars I have seen almost every time I have been scheduled per week.
Allowed to help in other departments when they're understaffed (the boss will think you're reliable and might give you a raise if you say yes to helping in a different department when you're not scheduled to work).
While putting misplaced items back where they're supposed to be seems to be an annoying thing, it actually allows you to memorize where the item is and able to help customers locate it in the future.

    Cons

Having to push carts in 90 to 100 degree weather and also while it's pouring rain.
Difficult customers would complain that I am not bagging "correctly" and push me aside to bag their items themselves.
Lifting and pushing heavy items is a requirement.
You're most likely bagging and standing for long periods of time especially on extremely busy days.
You're required to clean up human feces off toilets and hopefully they don't get it on the wall.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

My job is fairly consistant for a grocery store
    Work early hours

    Cons

No where to grow, sometimes they hold me accountable for things I can not control, and do not hold The Dept managers responsible for maintaining their depts and pricing.

    Advice to Management

Our job and the amount of work has nothing to do with sales. Some managers think that they can cut hes, but we work until our work is done. When given enough help we get thru it all if not there will be overtime.

    Pros

Great work environment, friendly customers and employees. Everyone wants to be part of the team and just help!

    Cons

Not enough of them in the Southern parts of the country; Florida. More stores would make it easier to relocate and travel to.

    Advice to Management

Make more stores faster! This company chain is like to be Publix' s competitor and is doing excellent in their expansion.
