I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Job is usually pretty easy and straightforward. Pay is decent in the deli ($11/hr). 15% discount on anything (except stamps), including sale items.

    Cons

Turnover is super high. Deli management is disconnected with evening shifts, resulting in unrealistic expectations and sometimes setting employees up to fail. Have never seen a pay raise after working more than a year.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the other employees, including manager, are very nice, being surrounded by a lot of produce motivated me to eat healthier, you definitely learn a lot

    Cons

A lot of rude customers, and the computer systems weren't always working. I left the job several weeks earlier than I planned to because the combination of these two factors was creating a lot of stress.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

We have some of the nicest mangers, they are consistently saying how much they appreciate other employees and they just lift the spirits up so much. There is a 15 percent off when shopping there, hours are fairly flexible. and overall I just like the vibe.

    Cons

It can be hard to get a raise before you hit your year mark, and as in all places there can be drama in the work place.

    Advice to Management

keep up the good work! if there is anything you can do about the drama going around that would be great but otherwise I think ya'll are great!

Great staff, everyone is nice. Management is open to increased pay or moving to other departments.

    Cons

Sometimes management can be a bit slack.

    Advice to Management

Keep a keener eye on what's going on, help the various departments better, and get those courtesy clerks to do their jobs better!

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Good starting pay for teens, most companies start you a little above minimum wadge
-15% discount for whole store (on special days like around holidays there will be a day when there is a 25% discount)
    -kind people
-star cards (5$ card to spend in the store, recognition for your work)
-when you work 8 hours you get two 15 min paid breaks with your 30 min break
-sometimes they order pizza for the employs

    Cons

    - sprouts uses a system called time forge for scheduling and at times it generates weird schedules. like one week ill be scheduled 8 hours then the next 20 hours Or there will be cashiers that are schedule five days for 3 hours each day. Or for instance for school ill have in the system that I cannot come till 4 during the week and time forge still schedules me at times at like 2. Management is good about fixing this it just gets annoying to have to keep asking them to fix it and the time forge system is kinda hard to work with like if you need a day off you cant ask it till its within 45 days and you cant ask it within its a certain amount of days.
-you cannot be promoted to any other position till you're 18 so you can start at 16 as a courtesy clerk but wont be moved till 18
-very busy store especially on the weekend as most retail is which means tons of carts outside and just one or two courtesy clerk pushing back in all those carts. Warning on Sundays I go every 30 minutes to get them and they still take me an hour
-work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but that is probably the same for most employs that work in retail

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The discount is amazing and even though some of the items in the store are expensive, in this economy its always nice to have reasonably priced foods.

    Cons

Not so much as cons, so much as a heads up. THIS IS RETAIL! Know ahead that there will be screaming kids, annoying people, and the stupid "the customer is always right deal." Sprouts is big on the "Yes" program. It basically brings the phrase to a whole new level.

    Advice to Management

    Communication.
