I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. There are some employees that are cool here.
    2. Employee appreciation days: 20% off

    Cons

    1. They gave out our social security info and offered us a year of identity protection, but not lifetime. Hello! You emailed someone else my personal info, and they have it to give to other people. What about next year? And the year after that?
    2. Employee appreciation day potlucks: After Sprouts cut our hours, and we scrap what we can together after our bills to feed ourselves, they expect us to buy food for other people. They used to buy the food, but I guess it cost too much.
    3. Totally understaffed. If you like doing everyone's job for them, work here.

    Advice to Management

    Stop hiding in your office.

    Pros

To have benefits with Bluecross Blueshield, is A plus.
They have a survey you can take and get like $20 off what you pay for health insurance every month.

15% entire Store Discount Card for you and one family member.
$5 star cards they give you when you are doing a good job.
    Overall, I feel appreciated.

    Cons

Turnover rate= At an all time high.
    Opportunities for advancement=low
They like to cut your hours of you're working in the front end.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Able to move up quickly and get increased hourly rate.
Easily made friends with fellow co-workers.
There is always something to do even when business is slow.
Able to help customers find items in the store and give tips and opinions about products and items I have personally experienced with.
Made friends with the regulars I have seen almost every time I have been scheduled per week.
Allowed to help in other departments when they're understaffed (the boss will think you're reliable and might give you a raise if you say yes to helping in a different department when you're not scheduled to work).
While putting misplaced items back where they're supposed to be seems to be an annoying thing, it actually allows you to memorize where the item is and able to help customers locate it in the future.

    Cons

Having to push carts in 90 to 100 degree weather and also while it's pouring rain.
Difficult customers would complain that I am not bagging "correctly" and push me aside to bag their items themselves.
Lifting and pushing heavy items is a requirement.
You're most likely bagging and standing for long periods of time especially on extremely busy days.
You're required to clean up human feces off toilets and hopefully they don't get it on the wall.

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Set a standard income for upper management positions to be fair to all!! I have 40 years experience and work 12 hours a day I am very productive yet there are new hires into my position that make more then I do?

It's fast paced and there is a lot of learning. Opportunity to advance rapidly. Opportunity to bonus frequently if you work hard.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Always parking available, alot of places to eat for lunch as well. And you get a 15 percent off employee discount and an extra 15 percent off card for whom ever you share your fridge with.

    Cons

No over time ever! They hired a lot of people for the new store and its not even 6 months later and every ones time is getting cut in half. How am I supposed to live off of 20 hr a week. Literally everyone is quitting except for me. And still no hours. Im in the great depression until i can get some hours! How messed up is that.

    Advice to Management

You should only hire teens because they still live with their parents and do not need to pay rent and it is perfect because they do not want to work much so 20 hrs would be good for them.

    Cons

Horrible communications from Corporate Office - 60 plus work weeks - Hours cut weekly for staff - it's like the Corporate Office is working against you - no support for new roll outs - Quite frankly the worst place I have worked in 25 years.
