I have been working at St Anne's Community Services full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

good benefits, paid time off, pension and learned a lot from the people I worked with.

    Cons

Can be a very stressful environment, long hours at times, politics and favoritism. My direct supervisors during my time were always every unstructured and lacked true leadership skills.

    Advice to Management

be more open to advice, suggestions from people in all departments and levels not just the one that directly follow the chain of command.

I worked at St Anne's Community Services full-time

    Pros

Flexible schedule to look for another job

    Cons

Horrible program in SPA 4, the people are not friendly a lot of gossip, immature workers, AD position is really a supv position, management doesn't get to think On their own, staff does not get annual Reviews on time, /some are more than 1 year late and the Director makes excuses for the time frame that they aren't done. Continuous writeups and favoritism, minimal training for staff, no staff incentives, not promoted...

    Advice to Management

Grow up, learn skills, learn how to run a program and treat people. As a social worker you have a responsibility to help others grow and you are not. If they keep the same Director and AD in spa 4 the program will die. Also have morals when staff are sleeping together in the same Dept on the same floor a few doors away from each other. It's pitiful.

I worked at St Anne's Community Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nothing at all with this company

    Cons

Second rate company, I worked for this company for only a relatively short period of time thank god! During my time there I reliased that support from upper management was non existent I soon found myself in a position where I had valid concerns over the seniors conduct towards me. Upper management missed this off as jovial banter!!! I had various hideous experiences while working for this company one been the senior...

I worked at St Anne's Community Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I recently worked at St Anne’s head office in Leeds in a temporary position; it was a perfect opportunity for me to re-enter an office environment ahead of a new career. I was immediately made to feel welcome by not only my own team, but by staff across the organisation as a whole. St Anne’s provide fantastic opportunities for you to network with members of staff across all worksites and areas of the organisation,...

    Cons

In terms of being in line with the regional average, the salary for a recruitment assistant is too low. Pay should reflect the importance of adhering to data protection on a constant basis and the diligence required within the role to ensure the right people are recruited to the organisation.

None! There minimum of 5 words

        Cons

Worked in HO at Leeds for some weeks, stuck in a grotty little office for some weeks with the minions licking up, also the "blue eyed girls", who grassed on you if you opened your mouth!!! It was like being back in a nursery with all the 20 somethings thinking they knew all about life. No help or support whatsoever. If you didn't attend their voluntary support meetings like the LGBT community you were frowned upon, not...

I have been working at St Anne's Community Services

        Pros

Massively satisfying job, making huge differences to the lives of people who need support to live independently in the community.

        Cons

We are currently under going a consultation process which will pretty much devastate our terms and conditions, especially around sick pay. Not their fault, blame the government and their unwarranted attacks on the disabled, but it still leaves us in a race to the bottom.

        Advice to Management

Listen to staff, we are on the front line and understand our clients needs. Prioritise us over the introduction of confusing and unnecessary technology.
