I worked at St. John Providence Health System full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are really good. It is a small hospital. Many coworkers are friendly; they become your work family. No More pros.

    Cons

Too much low census, overload of patients per person, unnecessary readmissions, half of the management stinks to work for (pulled a lot).

    Advice to Management

It is not out of a nurse's scope to do baths and definitely not to empty bedside commodes. They need to assess the patient's skin rather than to ask nursing assistants or not do it at all. I was in nursing school and I feel that it is utter laziness.
