I worked at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and good benefits due to union position

    Cons

Nasty, irresponsible, ignorant, lazy and very disrespectful co-workers. Management had a very weak control over employees who were incredibly disrespectful towards managers too.

    Advice to Management

Replace most of the laboratory staff. They waste a lot of money on most of those lazy, useless and very disrespectful lab staff.

    Pros

Its a relatively small hospital so there are good opportunities to get experience. They need more staff to keep up with all the work. Recently went under new management (CEO), this is a pro. Overall a good place to work.

    Cons

They don't give a lot of raises because they are a small hospital. The location is difficult if you take the public transportation.

    Advice to Management

Give your staff other benefits like training opportunities if you cant give raises.
