Pros
-Housing the homeless is rewarding.
Cons
-The CEO of LAHSA is making $430k a year, twice what the governor gets paid, $160k more than the Mayor, more than the President of the US, and $170k more than the previous CEO of LAHSA. She also invented 4 new and very highly paid executive positions at LAHSA $185-130k for her cronies at St Joseph Center, who she already hand-picked before the positions were even posted on LAHSA’s jobs board. It seems that cronyism and nepotism are alive and well at SJC. -Staff is underpaid while management gets exorbitant salaries. -They hire people based on favoritism instead of qualifications.
