    Pros

Excellent core values , Dignity, Justice, etc...

    Cons

Below average PTO hours, only 7 hours PTO every 2 weeks from year 1-5 which includes holiday and sick days. That means if you're hired in November, you will mostly likely not get paid for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

    Advice to Management

    Trainer needs major improvement.

    Pros

Great people. Employees are treated with dignity and respect. Good work life balance. Culture is not as reactive as other companies

    Cons

They have not embraced telecommuting or flexible schedules. Annual bonus for levels below director is pretty much non existent. Not too many company or team building events so it's difficult to network within the company

    Advice to Management

Rethink the 9-5 schedule in order to attract and retain more people

I have been working at St. Joseph Health System full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people, good value. The organization cares about their employees' health, gives cash incentives to be physically active and visits PCP annually. Depends on the which department you work for, the time can be flexible with great work/life balance. Management cares to hear employees' opinions.

    Cons

Don't expect large annual increase. 401k contribution match is low, PTO is slightly below average, confusing management structure, the organization is under going a lot of changes so there are lay offs, unclear what will happen with your position at this point. Hopefully things will settle down in early 2018.

    Advice to Management

Make it clear on who reports to whom. There are so many bosses for your staff. Also, I understand for an organization at this size decision will take time, but at some point, enough is enough, someone needs to make an executive decision, you cannot make everyone happy.

Payroll messes up my pay sometimes.
