    Pros

    Great atmosphere, helpful employees and great learning environments
    Nice people. My supervisors was amazing and always will teach, so you have absorbed everything about the job and other responsibilities

    Cons

    It was a part time job. I wish it was full time , some department politics but nothing ridiculous just the usual stuff that all department deal with

    I worked at St. Joseph's College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    They pay on time and understand when you have a family emergency or emergency situation
    they are getting new leadership within different departments

    Cons

    They try to do everything in there power not to give you a raise and work extra
    You can end up doing another job on top of yours for free
    They let unqualified people stay because they have family or ties to the convent
    As an employee your are not protected if a student incident happened
    So much gossip you don't know what is true
    They do not have any protocol in place for student emergencies

    Advice to Management

    Learn to pay your employees over time when you have them working more then 20 hours extra a week.. Comp time wont do it

    Be more honest
    Passive aggressive remarks are unprofessional
    Playing favorites with a former student now professional staff members

    Hard to get a parking position in Brooklyn campus. Students are not so diligent but complains a lot.

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, supervisor creates schedule based on your class schedule
    Great atmosphere to work in
    Nice people all around
    Nice, small campus
    You can do your homework while working

    Cons

    Pay has no real advancement because it's work-study. You cannot continue (because it's work-study) once you graduate so you will need to find a new job!

    Advice to Management

    Management was always very nice and understanding with needing to change schedules. Let you work together with other work-study student throughout the summer.
