    There are some days that the job are tedious.

    St Joes is a very good place to work hence my advice to the management is to keep doing what they are doing and also to keep improving on them.

    Strong, shared governance council, Magnet certified, NICHE and baby friendly . Treat staff very well. Many awards for excellence.

    Cons

    Very large hospital, in large metropolian area. No, children programs. Many upper level management team members.

    Pros

    M-F decent hours, decent rate of pay, work life balance, pto is given per month, benefits are offered.

    Cons

    Benefits are extremely over priced, you pay for parking in lots that are free to patients, management overlooks things when they are your friend.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees when they voice their opinion. Sometimes we actually make sense.

    good parking, food is good in the cafeteria

    you can not trust anything that is told to you by managers and any administration. Could use more diversity with employees

    Really no pros to working for them

    Cons

    Poor HR Dept that doesn't respond to you. Upper management doesn't care about employees. All they see are $$. Bad company to work for.

    Overall mission and values are positive.

    Administration does not seemingly care for those that work at a lower level, even when there are very serious concerns regarding management.

    Work together as a team to ensure employees are being treated fairly. If they are not, do something about it.

    Pay is awful, Benefits have gone downhill, Management, no appreciation or acknowledgement for hard workers in the dept.

    Treat all employees the same, acknowledge the hard workers in the department

    Feels like family. The nursing staff are all amazing. The nursing school is top notch and the employee education benefits are great.

    Cons

    None. This hospital is amazing. I would want my family members to go there. Always the best top notch nursing care at this hospital
