    Negative Outlook

I have been working at St Lawrence College part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    autonomy and flexibility of hours

    Cons

lack of job security and culture of have/have not. Part time vs full time. Major morale problems. Major rifts created.

    Advice to Management

Unionize everyone or unionize no one.
The two tiered approach is toxic.

    Pros

This job is wonderful because I am able to manage my tasks the way I find most efficiently and each task is diverse. It is an extremely flexible place to work and the coworkers are very friendly.

    Cons

The specific database work can be tedious as some tasks need to be done individually to a large number of accounts.

    Advice to Management

Continue the great work, I feel I am a valued employee.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at St Lawrence College full-time

    Pros

The college offers salaries competitive with other educational institutions
Faculty have academic freedom, good benefits, and eight weeks vacation

    Cons

The collective agreement says the job is 44 hours per week but I can tell you that this is seldom enough to get everything done during the busiest times of the year. With no teaching assistants, be prepared to spend a lot of weekends marking.

    Advice to Management

Continue living in your fantasy world - leave the real work to the rank and file and we'll get it done.
