    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Some of the people are absolutely fantastic. It's really fun to get exposure to artists and arts events in the area.

    Cons

Some of the people are absolutely crazy. Like, will make your life not fun if you work there for too long.

    Advice to Management

Pay better wages, and pay the interns. Everyone there works way too hard for what they're making.

I worked at St. Louis Regional Arts Commission as an intern

    Pros

Great opportunities to network with art businesses and leaders in the St. Louis community. RAC also offers several "intern projects" throughout the summer that focus on professional development, and help prepare you for subsequent job searches in the arts field.

    Cons

The internship is unpaid and the quality of the intern experience varies depending on who you are reporting to.
