    Negative Outlook

I have been working at St. Louis full-time

    Pros

Opportunities to use skills in field

    Cons

Most new employees have no experience. Supervisors are unprofessional, unsuportive and lack EMS knowledge. Most employees consistently seek employment elsewhere. High turnover due to disatisfaction. Poor pay and benefits. Very poor equipment. Reverse racism.

    Advice to Management

Try supporting staff. Take a management 101 class. Treat employees with respect. Take anger management class and get on mood stabilizer medications. Learn protocols and skills required to provide patient care. Treat employees equally and be consistent with policies and procedures.

I worked at St. Louis (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good Salary to start, and a good amount of overtime if you want it.

    Cons

The City will hire anybody, and the supervisory staff is very unprofessional and rude. They write you up for any and everything. Most of the officers are criminals themselves.

    Advice to Management

Tighten the security up and stop promoting your friends, and promote the people that will help the divison grow.

I worked at St. Louis full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very nice work environment. People are friendly and easy to bond with. There are great benefits and perks. If you're lucky enough to work in City Hall, it's such a beautiful building, it's hard not to love going to work everyday.

    Cons

Easy to get caught up in others drama and problems. Some people are not friendly and are fairly rude.

    Advice to Management

Keep being respectful and taking good care of your employees. A kind word always did go a long way.

    Pros

There are not any good reasons. Don't waste time applying unless you know someone. I suggest you run and look for employment else where

    Cons

No chance of advancing here. The managers are dirty low down crooks. And don't expect a raise or praise the moral SUCKS

    Advice to Management

Stop stealing out of the city budget and give the correct raises to your employees

    Pros

Flexible schedule great informed managers teach to make sure quality is always the best managers lead by example and the company takes care of employees

    Cons

There are strict rules, always make sure you ask specific questions with each guest, would you like this? How about that? The work application is long and annoying. The bread bashes that you have to attend are annoying.

    Advice to Management

Salary could be more, reviews should be more frequent.
