    Pros

If you plan on working in healthcare it’s a good foot in the door job.

    Cons

Too much management. Too many many managers hired for wrong reasons and make too many decisions for areas they have no knowledge or understanding of. All it does is kill morale and cause more work.

    Great Hospital

Mar 23, 2023 - Certified Nursing Assistant CNA in Boise, ID

    Pros

Have worked at a number of hospitals in California and this one had been the best! Pay could be better, but that's most places. Great professional staff and they are KIND! Hard to find hardworking, professional, kind people. St. Luke's hires the best.

    Cons

Pay could be better, but it's not bad

    Stressful Work Environment

Mar 17, 2023 - Healthcare in Nampa, ID
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    The food from the cafeteria.

    Cons

No, cost of living increase. For being an invested employee 2% for years of service each year. CEO's get millions of dollars each year. They don't follow their own policies. Management has no clue what their employees are doing half the time, and they spent no time with employees. Over the past 5 years, they've really gone down hill on how they treat their employees. They spent a lot of time preaching on how they care about the community, when their employees live in the community and are struggling financially. The cost of insurance goes up every year, it's outrageous working for Healthcare and how much the charge for health insurance.

    Pros

Great learning experience and my department feels likes family.

    Cons

You’re replaceable. Starting wage is $17.78 and you can max out at $27. However, 5 years after being here in my current position, and I am up to right under $20.

Retro billing if you quit the company

    Mar 25, 2023 - Certified Medical Assistant
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Benefits were okay while working there- if you use St Luke's as medical offices.

    Cons

I had to move out of state a year ago. I have been sent 100's of dollars in retro medical bills from over a year ago. I had squared away all my medical bills before moving and had never had bills from them that late in the 9 years I worked there. Punishment for leaving the employer?
