    Pros

None that I can think of other than its a job and a paycheck

    Cons

Since they pay based on experience, not performance or skills, the more experience you have, the more you'll make. There's little room to move up or across, with little to no development training or paths. PTO, sick leave and holidays are lumped together and the health insurance is not that great. Work life balance is horrible as they don't really allow flexibility in your schedule.

    Good WorkLife Balance

    Feb 22, 2019 - Financial Systems Analyst
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Working in the Finance department is really nice. All of the people are good to work with and it's been a great opportunity. Managers are willing to work with people to accommodate life events and time off. There isn't pressure to work excessive hours and you are encouraged to have a work/life balance.

    Cons

Non-Profit so there are no bonuses. Large company, so decisions take a long time to filter through approval levels.

    Goods and Bads like anywhere

    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    - Good work life balance - Decent benefits - Recently allowed Telecommute option to some staff

    Cons

    - Company got too big too fast and didn't develop their infrastructure first. - Seems to favor longevity with the company over productivity and hard work - Very "Corporate". The world and way businesses are run is changing. They are still using Myers Briggs assessments and other old "standardized" methods for management. - Due to under staffing, workload can be overwhelming and cause burn-out

    Pros

St Luke's is a phenomenal health system dedicated to the education of their staff and safe daily practices. As a new grad I have been supported throughout my transition from a new nurse to beginning my second year. St Lukes goes above and beyond to support and provide a positive work life balance.

    Cons

The hiring and onboarding phase can be challenging but will be well worth your time.
