    Pros

    Excellent learning opportunities on the units, especially the PCU

    Cons

    High turnover rate for RNs and PCTs, makes for short staffing and poor RN to patient ratios. BID shift self scheduling is used, but management always denies the days that you select and you end up having to switch with colleges .

    This is a great place to market yourself if you're interested in climbing the healthcare provider ladder. It also exposes you to some of the most cutting edge technologies in the medical field.

    Poor staffing, inconsistent scheduling, no accountability from authority figures, double standards male/female

    hospital work, mon - friday hours

    training is very lackluster, coworkers run amok

    train better and have better managers who actually care about employees and not about telling everyone about their social(sex)life

    Management needs to upgrade facility

    Advice to Management

    Try not to pinch Nursing for all the problems associated with old building. Satisfaction scores not our problem if visitors and patients not comfortable in beds and waiting rooms.
