I worked at Staff Care as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a Long assignment with them (actually three Government "tours of Duty") years ago. They pay on time, and the furnished apartment wasn't bad.

    Cons

They really should email us about opportunities, instead of all the phone calls. The Guy I worked with was initially Good, but then, After the assignment, called me about an opportunity in a Small Town in Upper Michigan. When I didn't call back right away, he left a message "Doctor-Would you PLEASE have the professional courtesy to call me back!" UM-I'm a physician with twelve years of training, and many more on the job. You are a Professional-WHAT?? But...now that I see most of these reviews here, I can see the pressure you all are under. This is a true at a number of other such companies as well. Providers signing contracts with you, just perpetuates your exploitation.

    Advice to Management

It's called email. Make sure your employees use it to communicate with Providers. And we don't want to hear "It's a limited-time offer, filling up fast." That's Used Car Salesman stuff. Oh Yes...and treat them like Human Beings.

I have been working at Staff Care as a contractor

    Pros

That the BBB has been notified and their illegal actions are being investigated

    Cons

Dishonest, disorganized, bungle assignments and cheat physicians out of pay with no apology

    Advice to Management

Apologize when you make a mistake, teach your staff to communicate when there is a problem and not avoid the client. DO NOT LIE AND CHEAT PHYSICIANS

I worked at Staff Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a temp agency, albeit glorified. You get a paycheck, even though they come from California, their emblezzement center, so always delayed pay.

    Cons

They have too many employees working and handling the same tempjob accts and do not know how to communicate amongst themselves, they are at a high level of corporate inefficiency. Payroll portal to submit hours and workshift times is not user friendly.

    Advice to Management

Learn to go back to the drawing board and cc,bcc one another on emails that pertain to the same tempjob candidate, and vice versa in communicating with one another. At the end of the day, youre a temp agency, so carry yourself as one. Be efficient, be transparent, be timely.

I worked at Staff Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They promise you the moon the sun and the stars

    Cons

In january this year we used satffcare for part time physician. We were assured that the provider we were getting was optimal and an excellent fir. Once the provider showed up, they were far under par with any type of knowledge, moved slower than slow and our bill was through the roof. We eventually had to close our office as a result of the provider they had recommended. A clinic that has been open for 24 years.

    Advice to Management

Time to start really revieing who you hire and who you tout as excellent when they couldn't differentiate a flu bug from sepsis.
