I worked at Staff Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You can indeed make 6 figures! It's a lot of work and time, just like any good job, and it can be done! It's a great way to start in the staffing industry and figure out if it's for you.

    Cons

They do not value their employees long term. Being a yes-man is highly valuable here. Ideas and smarts are not valued (see Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz- "if I only had a brain..."). Efficiency, effectiveness, talent and skills are not valued. Making lots of dials is highly valued (but not being productive with your dials- Just the # at the end of the day matters). No one spoke to me about the success I found in my gross profit, but they always spoke to me about how many dials I was making (never enough- even if I was hitting my goals!). Please talk to me about something more intelligent and fruitful for my skill and talent! We were told to avoid being out of the office, even for vacations and personal doctor's appointments, bc that would take us away from making dials.

    Advice to Management

Courses on Leadership and Managing People would be very helpful for effectiveness leading teams. Demonstrate that you Value your people who are working hard for you every day. Bridge the gap between leadership and employees at the desk level, so you know what they're job actually entails, and can be a voice for them- not just beat on them. Being reactive in your leadership style wears ppl down- it doesn't motivate them. Communicate effectively, understanding the impact your words and info will have on your team's productivity and motivation to perform and work for Staff Care.

I worked at Staff Care full-time

    Pros

once you build up your book of accounts the commission checks were great!

    Cons

working and recruiting 1099 contracts were the worst. they could quit a job without notice and you lose all your commission. managers were unsupportive and always looking for someone to blame. they created a hostile work environment and never offer support.

    Advice to Management

have your teams back when a provider or company drops their contract. threatening to fire your employee and offer zero coaching is why your turn over rate is so high.
