    Pros

    Decent/good starting pay
    Nice co-workers
    Virtual cafe
    Insurance
    Food trucks

    Cons

    Hard to find your place and to prove yourself
    No work/life balance
    Metrics are more concerned than production
    Loss of employee focus
    High turnover
    Outdated computer sales system

    Advice to Management

    Promote tenured people within rather than put people from the outside with little healthcare experience into management. One of the biggest challenges there is being able to go to many meetings and still exceed your metrics per day. Base activity and production with what you have to work with. Make sure everyone gets the same amount of tier 1 states to work to ensure it is fair. Understand your employees welfare and concerns instead of just trying to please yourself. Don't hire a lot of people just to fire 4/5 after training, not a good look.

    Solid direct management team open to helping you succeed any way possible

    Cons

    If your numbers are down, only solution provided is to make more dials. Blind dialing and hoping for the best isnt the best way to motivate people in my opinion

    Pros

    Pay was excellent, but I made more than most at the company due to being in a little bit different section of the company.

    Cons

    Management in highly compensated based on production, so they ride their teams like work horses. Little interest in employee welfare.

    Advice to Management

    They need to express interest in employee morale and listen to employee concerns. Allow flex scheduling (which other AMN locations allow).

    Pros

    Great managers and training. Even if your new to the staffing industry there training can have you up in running in under 3 months. They invest a lot of time into your success.

    Cons

    Insurance is not the greatest, high premiums and deductibles. When company gets behind on quarterly goals calls/talk time metrics increase, which in my opinion isn't conducive to finding qualified health care professionals.
