I worked at Staffing Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not much gave me a job but hands down the worst contracting company I have ever worked for

    Cons

No communication with their contractors very low pay horrible expensive benefits

    Advice to Management

You have to do better let your contractors take a page out of other staffing services play book , know what's going on with start end dates check in with your employees to make sure that they are ok take them to lunch so that you can have a candid conversation negotiate better compensation and benefits packages and maybe you will be able to hold on to your qualified people.

    Pros

It is the people and the support they have that makes this a great company. Very professional, ethical and most importantly, genuine group of people with vast amounts of experience and passion for IT Staffing. An absolute pleasure to show up for work every day and be among the finest in the business. High standards are expected at all levels of employment and hard work is rewarded. If you are chosen to be a Staffing Technology employee, you have been given an opportunity that does not come by easily in an environment that will challenge and at the same time propel you to be as successful as you choose to be.

    Cons

Glassdoor is making me write at least five words in the Cons section before it will let me post. Ok Glassdoor, I will.

    Advice to Management

Shake it up, make the changes needed to continue the hard work and success that those that have been there the longest know.

I have been working at Staffing Technologies (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked here about 10 years ago, came back almost 2 years ago. We have a great environment where we get drinks together after work, go on outings and the occasional trip. I like and respect Jim McNabb or I would have never returned. We have a strong mature group of people of recruiters/sales professionals that it is my privilege to work with. I would recommend Staffing Technologies to anyone who is interested in "working" to make things great for themselves.

    Cons

Not allowed to have beer at work

    Pros

    Parking, snacks in the kitchen

    Cons

Hours are horrible. Company closes at 5:30. You cannot negotiate work hours. You cannot work from home. Very sexist work environment. You have to sign out for lunch. Can only wear jeans on Friday even though there are never any visitors. Several meaningless meetings a day. Very uptight environment. Overbearing, small minded leaders.

    Advice to Management

Try evolving your company to present times. Your company has a very 1950s environment.
