I have been working at Stage Stores full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Executive Training Program provides lots of opportunity to move up quickly. Gives you a wide range of knowledge and experience switching from Buying to Planning & Allocation. This is a smaller company compared to other retailers, so you actually get opportunities to speak and present to senior level management.

    Cons

There is lots of disorganization in many of the company's processes. Only 2 weeks paid vacation for the first 5 years. However, you are also give 2 weeks for sick time as well.

I worked at Stage Stores full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Large company with great opportunities to break into fashion and retail. The college program is a great way to learn a variety of jobs in a short amount of time. Great training and learning programs. Leadership is very accessible and great mentors.

    Cons

Troubling retail environment makes business tough and adds pressure to roles and jobs.

I worked at Stage Stores full-time for less than a year

    Pros

decent office hours, good training, helpful people. There is a path for development if you do the right things and there is also a chance for nice bonuses based off of performance

    Cons

The company expects its employees to give everything they have during working hours. My experience was under a different CEO, but I believe many changes have been made to make the environment more welcoming for new employees.
