    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Stage Stores full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Many great people and customers to work with. Room for advancement.. Still has a small town feel

    Cons

Payroll budgets are not sufficient for the average store to meet high expectation. Too many coupons in customers hands. Checkout process getting very slow.

    Advice to Management

Work on correcting the disconnect between the field and corporate, Stores are where sales are driven- give them the resources they need.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Stage Stores full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There was not any pros to working for this company. It is a terrible environment for anyone to work in.

    Cons

The company blatantly discriminates against women/ ethnicity with a lack of communication to employees. A definite ivory tower for executives who choose to not get involved with teams. Very sad and unfortunate, not an employer of choice. The board must step in and make changes.

    Advice to Management

None as this is the group that must be moved out. There is not core a value system in place to keep everyone aligned and the environment equitable.
