I worked at Stamford Hospital full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great colleagues, decent benefits, flexibility, caring CEO

    Cons

Certain managers attempt to bring down their own staff to compensate for their own inadequacies and insecurities rather than through hard work, accountability, and kindness to gain respect and trust. Unmanageable workload in some depts. if you're competent while others get a pass. Values are preached but not lived by some managers.

I have been working at Stamford Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Overtime is good, hours are somewhat flexible

    Cons

We work outside of the hospital in a corporate office. All of the roles are essential yet all can be done from home. However upper mgmt/HR still had everyone coming into work putting all employees health at risk.

Current Employee - Staff RN in Stamford, CT

I have been working at Stamford Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Big spacious hospital, private rooms

    Cons

Scary how little the residents know, mostly everything is deferred to day team. The hospitalists do not get sign out overnight therefore do not know their patients. Doctors are very rude and condescending to other staff members.
