I have been working at Stanford Health Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love saying I work there and reading about exciting research being done there. It's also nice to be part of a hospital where there is such advanced care done.

    Cons

It's difficult to move around the organization. You better like your first job or you will be leaving the hospital to advance your career. There are only 2 weeks of vacation- that's no nearly enough. Also, there is no retirement plan.

I have been working at Stanford Health Care part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Stanford is great because of the people working there. You can tell people take their jobs seriously and everyone respects each other's role in the system

    Cons

Its not great in that they don't seem to value their employees very much. Also, I have felt the consequences budget cuts implemented by the new CEO. It seems like some units are scrambling to make everything work
