    Great experience in both consulting and remediation completing many high profile projects

    there is much turmoil at my present company. For example there have been seven(7) executive directors in 13 years I

    I worked at Stantec as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very nice, they showed me a lot of things about the field that I didn't know. They were very willing to teach me programs i was not familiar with.

    Cons

    I live in the suburbs with my parents since I'm a college student, so it was about an hour or so commute into the city every day.

    All, The very best work environment, the leadership is amazing and very good for career growth. The projects are very innovative, the design culture is open for everyone can participate.

    None that I am thinking, this company is a great place for work. Really I am not have anything to say about Stantec.

    Pros

    Very friendly office culture, competitive while supporting each other, support employees with latest powerful software tools, have effective frameworks for most aspect of work (IT, HR, benefits, training, time card, etc.)

    Cons

    Like with any consulting firm, highly dependent on contract work that may only last for a few years. Project procurement team may not be as focused.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on solid procurement team that will consistently win work for the rest of the team

    Pros

    Friendly Staff. Professional Organization. Emphasis placed on Employer safety. Management trusts staff to meet deadlines without micro-managing. Managers check-in with their reports frequently.

    Cons

    Might have to move out to move out. I have not found this to be the case for myself, but this was the reason given by out-going staff.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the Good work.

    Pros

    Great company from the top down. They know how to treat employees and create a very solid culture.

    Cons

    Very engineering based, so it can be difficult for non-engineers to co-exist at times, but that's nit-picking.
