    Pros

    I really enjoyed working for Starboard. I started as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Executive Assistant less than a year later. Starboard never made me feel like "just" a secretary/ assistant. I was involved in many exciting things- strategic planning, spearheading company events, presentations, worked on special projects with LVMH, etc. I loved the culture and felt that others (cross departmental) always had my best interest in mind.

    Cons

    Honestly, can't think of anything! I had a child and became a stay-at-home parent, otherwise I would still be working there. Do plan to return eventually! :)

    constant change of priorities, most departments are short staffed

    Advice to Management

    Take time to focus on one priority at a time and execute prior to moving on to the next 5. Most employees have to work during their personal time just to keep up with the their work load as they are constantly being pulled in 4 different directions.

    The people are great and there's a feeling of family. Great place to learn. Travel opportunities.

    Cons

    Management is very disorganized and you'll work long days and weekends do to the Cruise Line industry demands. The pay is not great, nor is the culture.

    Pros

    Starboard has a "Work Hard, Play Hard" culture! We all work hard and have so many talented people on our teams- but when it is time to have fun, we know it best! Bowling, holiday parties, etc.. I love that the company values each of us for our individual strengths and allows us to build on those strengths rather than treating us like robots- we are all individuals and have different sets of skills we bring- Starboard encourages this.

    To be successful here, you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and change directions when needed. We are an evolving company and change is inevitable, if you can roll with that then you can progress within your career here at Starboard

    Pros

    Friday you get to leave at 3pm if you made up your hours, good healthcare, co workers are awesome.

    Cons

    Pay, pay,pay! We work really hard, and extensive long hours with no recognition. The pay is horrible, pay increase each year is super low, and the bonus sucks.

    Pros

    Great to travel and know the world, Interesting working with suppliers from several categories for merchandising

    Cons

    CEO has no credibility nor direction, everyone in the company knows it but she keep talking about the future, while the present gets worst for the company

    Advice to Management

    Say the truth to the employees, dont fake it with speeches that nobody believe, be clear on the direction and keep it, is not that difficult. And please, try to get some growth so people start to believe
