I have been working at Starbucks part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits for partners, 3 free coffees and 1 free free when you are working, opportunity to grow, and competitive pay

    Cons

Sometimes they can be low on labor and staff which can become hard when it's busy. Otherwise it's a great company to work for.

    Advice to Management

    Schedule more labor

I have been working at Starbucks part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Starbucks is a very caring company. They take care of their partners. Although I've only been a partner for a year, I can honestly say it's the best job I've had.

    Cons

Since it is a food services company, they are open on every holiday. So you can't really ask off in advance for any of the major holidays.

    Advice to Management

Try and enjoy the side of the job that the baristas are blessed with, that is the people. The baristas closely interact with our regular customers/friends, while managers have to constantly make sure the few immature employees are watched over.

I have been working at Starbucks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great for team work building and incredible benefits

    Cons

Raises aren't great and starting pay is worse for how much you're expected to do

    Advice to Management

Raises at least more frequently or of more value. I've been working for the company for 7 years and make about as much as some entry level shift supervisors.
