I worked at Starbucks part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The store is open from early morning to late at night, so if you need a flexible job this will be perfect for you - especially for college students who need that flexibility. Amazing, fun people and lots of growth opportunities if you prove you want it.

    Cons

Store is always open, holidays included. Must be willing to work on those days.

    Advice to Management

Stay involved with every employee with simple face to face time. With such wide hours, a person could work shifts and not see the manager for weeks at a time.

I worked at Starbucks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The managers at my store were all great; great leadership, and in turn great teamwork from the partners. It was also great to get to know the regulars.

    Cons

It's customer service; some customers can be literally the devil. Also, tips are almost nonexistent.

    Pros

Very progressive company. Offers benefits for part-time employees. Fast-paced environment.

    Cons

The only negative comment I can make is that it was difficult to work busy days when co-workers called out sick.

I worked at Starbucks part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Great benefits

-Flexible schedule (prepared two weeks in advance which was nice)

-Great employees and work environment was interesting

    Cons

-Work does get old after a while

    Advice to Management

My manager NEVER told us about new drinks or food items we were going to be selling. We were left to figure out recipes on our own which I didn't appreciate. Team meetings once in a while would have been very helpful to all get on the same page.

    Advice to Management

In my personal opinion I believe that insurance rates should be cut significantly for families. Individually priced rates aren't too bad but possibly making it a little more affordable would help a lot.
