I worked at Starcom Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I loved the young environment and all of the free food and drinks events that the company was always hosting. -The benefits were awesome, I was able to get on a PPO for a pretty cheap price. --The 401k options were meh, I've seen better. -Lots of vacation time

    Cons

-Decision Sciences, as an analytics department, is a joke. Besides the Product team and a few clients it's all market insights and doing basic work in Excel. -Pay could have been better, the company could have had better retention if they gave better raises and offered bonuses. -Former boss had lackluster communication skills. He was a perfect example of someone getting the job because he was good buddies with someone higher up.

I have been working at Starcom Worldwide full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Large company with lots of opportunity for growth and ability to try new channels

    Cons

Path to promotion can be obscure due to all promotions going through the larger holding company. Does not always create or enforce expectations and timelines to create work/life balance

I have been working at Starcom Worldwide full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Amount of PTO days you get along with days off for holidays - The accounts I've been on have had some knowledgeable people that are able to help you with what you need - Depending on the account you're on the work from policy is pretty lenient - Snacks and beverages provided in break rooms (pre-COVID 19)

    Cons

    - Not compensated enough for the hours and work you put in - Management always seems to busy to help people below their position - Likely to get shuffled between roles and departments - Work life balance can be a huge issue but it ultimately depends on what account you'll be placed on

I have been working at Starcom Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fast paced, interesting work. Very inclusive culture. Lots of opportunities to move up.

    Cons

Certain accounts are more chaotic than others, and certain directors aren’t as good of leaders. Salaries are a bit on the low side.

I worked at Starcom Worldwide full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Interesting work, good people, many opportunities to develop as a professional

    Cons

Promotions can take time, easy to get lost in the shuffle if you don't take initiative for your own career

I have been working at Starcom Worldwide full-time

    Pros

TBH, none. If you need to pad your resume, it would be worth it. But if you have experience or really want to learn or grow, this isn't the place for that.

    Cons

Cliquey environment. Growth opportunities aren't non-existent. No diversity outside of entry-level positions.
